Automotive 12V to 24V Three Phase Smart Gate Driver

Product Description

The DRV8340HPHPRQ1 device is an integrated gate driver for three-phase applications. The device features three half-bridge gate drivers, each capable of driving both high-side and low-side N-channel power MOSFETs, with dedicated source and drain pins to support independent MOSFET control for solenoid valve applications. The device uses an integrated charge pump to generate sufficient gate drive voltage for the high-side MOSFET and a linear regulator to generate sufficient gate drive voltage for the low-side MOSFET. This smart gate drive architecture supports peak gate drive pull currents up to 1A and peak gate drive sink currents up to 2A. The DRV8340HPHPRQ1 can be powered from a single supply and supports a wide input supply voltage range of 5.5 to 60V for gate drivers.
