The DRV8841PWPR provides an integrated dual H-bridge motor driver solution for printers, scanners and other automation equipment applications. The device can be used to drive one or two brushed DC motors, bipolar stepper motors, or other loads. Connection to the controller circuitry is easy through a simple PWM interface.

The output driver block consists of N-channel power MOSFETs configured as H-bridges.The DRV8841 delivers up to 2.5 A peak or 1.75 A RMS output current per H-bridge (at 24 V and TA = 25°C with proper heat sinking).

The DRV8841PWPR provides a low-power sleep mode that shuts down the internal circuitry for very low quiescent current consumption. This sleep mode can be set via the dedicated nSLEEP pin. Internal over-temperature, over-current and under-voltage protection is provided. Fault conditions are indicated by the nFAULT pin.
