The DRV8706SQRHBRQ1 is a highly integrated H-bridge gate driver capable of driving both high-side and low-side N-channel power MOSFETs, which generates the appropriate gate drive voltage using an integrated multiplier charge pump for the high-side and a linear regulator for the low-side.

The device reduces system cost and improves reliability by using an intelligent gate drive architecture. The gate driver optimises dead time to avoid breakdown problems, controls for EMI reduction with adjustable gate drive current, and prevents drain-source and gate shorts with VDS and VGS monitors.
