The LTC3310JV is a very small, low noise, monolithic step-down DC/DC converter capable of delivering up to 10A of output current from a 2.25V to 5.5V input supply. The device utilises the Silent Switcher 2 architecture with internal thermal bypass capacitors for low EMI and high efficiency, with low EMI and high efficiency at switching frequencies up to 5MHz. For systems with high power requirements, multi-phase parallel converters, the LTC3310JV features a constant frequency, peak current mode control architecture for fast transient response, A500mV reference for low voltage output, and 100% duty cycle operation for low dropout voltage. Other features include a power good signal when the output is in regulation, precise enable thresholds, output overvoltage protection, thermal shutdown, and temperature protection.
