The MAX20499AFOG/VY is a family of high-efficiency synchronous buck converters that operate from 3.0V to 5.5V and 0.5V to 1.275V. The buck converter family operates over an input voltage range of 3.0V to 5.5V and output voltages of 0.5V to 1.275V. It has a wide input/output voltage range, and is capable of delivering peak currents up to 12A. Wide input/output voltage range and capable of delivering up to 12A peak current. The wide input/output voltage range and ability to provide up to 12A peak output current makes this device family ideal for on-board point-to-point devices.The MAX20499AFOG/VY is ideal for on-board point-of-load and post regulator applications.The MAX20499AFOG/VY has an output error of ±1.5% output error in load, line, and post regulator applications. The MAX20499AFOG/VY features a 2.2MHz fixed-frequency PWM mode for better noise immunity and load transient response. 2.2MHz frequency operation allows the use of all ceramic capacitors, minimising external components. Spread spectrum modulation option minimises radiated electromagnetic emissions. The integrated low RDS(ON) switch improves efficiency at heavy loads and allows for simpler layouts than discrete solutions. the MAX20499AFOG/VY provides factory preset output voltages. See the Ordering Information table for options. The output voltage 2C interface supports dynamic voltage regulation with programmable slew rate. Other features include programmable soft-start and overcurrent and overtemperature protection.
