The MAX11103ATB+T are 12-bit, compact, high-speed, low-power, successive-approximation analogue/digital converters (ADCs). These high-performance ADCs feature extremely high sample/hold dynamic range and a high-speed serial port that accepts a full-scale input range from 0V to supply voltage or reference voltage.
The MAX11103ATB+T features dual single-ended analogue inputs connected to the ADC core circuitry via a 2:1 multiplexer. The devices also provide a separate power input for the data interface with a dedicated reference voltage input. The single-channel devices, on the other hand, have internal circuitry to generate the reference voltage from the power supply.
These ADCs are powered from 2.2V to 3.6V supplies and consume only 5.2mW of power at 3Msps and 3.7mW at 2Msps. The devices include full shutdown and fast wake-up features, optimised power management, and a high-speed 3-wire interface design. 3-wire serial interfaces connect directly to SPI, QSPI™, and MICROWIRE® devices without the need for additional logic circuitry. .
Excellent dynamic characteristics and the advantages of low voltage, low power consumption, simplicity, and small package size make these converters ideal for use in portable battery-powered data acquisition systems and other applications requiring low power consumption and small size.
The ADCs are available in a 10-pin TDFN package and operate over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range.
