The ADA4500-2ARMZ is a dual-channel, 10 MHz, 14.5 nV/√Hz, low-power amplifier with rail-to-rail input and output slew rate, capable of operating from a single supply voltage of 2.7 V to 5.5 V, and compatible with industry-standard nominal voltages of +3.0 V, +3.3 V, +5.0 V, and ±2.5 V.
The amplifier employs an innovative zero crossover distortion circuit topology, providing high linearity across the entire rail-to-rail input common-mode range, along with excellent power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) performance, without the crossover distortion typically associated with traditional complementary rail-to-rail input stages. The resulting operational amplifier also offers exceptional accuracy, wide bandwidth, and extremely low bias current.
This combination of features makes the ADA4500-2ARMZ an ideal choice for precision sensor applications, as it minimises errors caused by power supply voltage variations while maintaining high CMRR performance across the entire input voltage range. The ADA4500-2ARMZ is also an excellent amplifier for driving analogue-to-digital converters (ADCs), as its output does not distort under common-mode voltage conditions, allowing the ADC to utilise its full input voltage range and maximise the dynamic range of the conversion subsystem.
