The AD6642BBCZ is an 11-bit, 200 MSPS, dual-channel intermediate frequency (IF) receiver designed specifically to support multi-channel systems in telecom applications requiring high dynamic range performance, low power consumption, and small size. The device consists of two high-performance analogue-to-digital converters (ADCs) and a noise shaping re-quantiser (NSR) digital module. Each ADC uses a multistage, differential pipeline architecture with integrated output error correction logic.The first stage of the ADC differential pipeline contains a wide bandwidth switched capacitor sampling network. An integrated reference voltage source simplifies the design. A duty cycle stabiliser (DCS) compensates for ADC clock duty cycle fluctuations to maintain excellent converter performance.
