Overview:

The MAX22203AUU is a dual-channel 65V, 3.8AMAX H-bridge that provides PWM inputs and high-precision current drive regulation (CDR). Each H-bridge can be individually controlled and has an ultra-low typical RON of 0.3Ω (high side + low side) for high drive efficiency and low heat generation.The MAX22203AUU can be used to drive two brushed DC motors or a single stepper motor.

Two H-bridges with a maximum operating voltage of 65V

- Total RON (high side + low side): 300mΩ (typical) (TA = 25°C)

Current rating of each H-bridge (typical at 25°C):

- IMAX = 3.8A (pulse current to drive capacitive loads)

- ITRIP_MAX = 3A (maximum current setting for internal current drive regulation)

- IRMS = 2ARMS

Integrated Current Drive Regulation (CDR)

- Provides an internal current sense (ICS) function, eliminating the need for bulky external resistors and improving efficiency.

- Current drive regulation monitor output pins (CDRA and CDRB)

- Multiple attenuation modes (slow, mixed, fast)

- Fixed turn-off time can be configured using external resistors.
