The ADUM4154BRIZ is a 5kV rms, 7-channel SPIsolator™ digital isolator optimized for serial peripheral interface (SPI) and can support up to four slave devices. The ADUM4154BRIZ device is based on Analog Devices' iCoupler® chip-scale transformer technology and features low propagation latency and low jailing in CLK, MO/SI, MI/SO and SS SPI bus signals, supporting SPI clock rates up to 17 MHz.

The ADUM4154BRIZ isolator also provides a slave select multiplexing system, with one isolator supporting up to 4 slave parts. When a target slave is selected, the slave select signal is propagated to the desired output with a low propagation delay, enabling strict timing control. The isolated SSx is addressed over a 250 kbps low-speed, 2-channel address bus and requires only 2.5 μs to replace the target slave.

The ADUM4154BRIZ isolator is suitable for industrial programmable logic controller (PLC) and sensor isolation.
