The MAX20499CAFOC/VY+ is a high-efficiency synchronous buck converter with an input voltage range of 3.0 V to 5.5 V and an output voltage range of 0.5 V to 1.275 V. This device has a wide input/output voltage range and is capable of delivering peak output currents of up to 16 A, making it well suited for on-board point-of-load and post regulation applications. the MAX20499C has an output error of ±1 5% over the load , line, and temperature ranges with an output error of ±1.5 percent.
The MAX20499CAFOC/VY+ features a 2.2MHz fixed-frequency PWM mode, which provides improved immunity and load transient response. 2.2MHz operation supports the use of full ceramic capacitors and reduces external component count. Spread Spectrum Modulation option fully reduces electromagnetic emissions. An integrated low RDS(ON) switch improves efficiency at heavy loads and simplifies the layout to make it simpler than discrete solutions.
The MAX20499CAFOC/VY+ uses a factory preset output voltage. The I2C interface supports dynamic adjustment of the voltage according to the programmed slew rate. Other features include programmable soft-start, over-current protection, and over-temperature protection.
