Product Description

The LTC3313EV is a very small, low noise, monolithic step-down DC/DC converter capable of delivering up to 15A output current from a 2.25V to 5.5V input supply. The kit uses the Silent Switcher architecture to achieve low EMI and high efficiency at switching frequencies of up to 5MHz. For systems with higher power requirements, multi-phase parallel converters are easily implemented.


The LTC3313EV features a constant frequency, peak current mode control architecture for fast transient response. 500mV reference voltage source for low voltage output. 100% duty cycle operation for low voltage dropout.


Other features include power good signal at output voltage regulation, precision enable threshold, output overvoltage protection, thermal shutdown, temperature monitor, clock synchronisation, mode selection and output short circuit protection. The kit is available in a compact 18-pin 3mm × 3mm LQFN package.
