The MAX25610AAUE+ is a fully synchronous LED driver that provides a constant current output to drive high power LEDs. The MAX25610AAUE+ integrates two 60mΩ power MOSFETs for synchronous operation, minimizing external components. Flexible configurations support buck, inverting boost/buck, and boost conversion. The devices are current-mode controlled to provide fast transient response and simplified loop stabilization. MAX25610AAUE+ includes cycle-by-cycle current limiting, output overvoltage protection (OVP), light string open circuit protection, output short circuit protection (SCP), and thermal shutdown.
The MAX25610AAUE+ is ideal for automotive applications requiring high voltage inputs and can withstand throw-load events of up to 40V. The device can also be used as a DC-DC converter, utilizing the FB input as feedback to the output divider. MAX25610AAUE+ is available in a thermally enhanced, 16-pin TSSOP-EP package and a 16-pin TQFN package. The devices operate over the -40°C to +125°C automotive-grade temperature range.
