The AD2428KCPZ Automotive Audio Bus (A2B®) provides a multi-channel, I2S/TDM link between two nodes up to 15 m apart. The A2B is a single-host, multi-slave system, and the transceiver in the master controller is used as the host. The host generates clock, synchronization, and framing signals for all slave nodes. The host A2B transceiver can be programmed through the control port (I2C) to realize configuration and read back. An extended version of the control port is built into the A2B data stream, which can directly access the register and status information of the receiver and sender from the machine, and realize cross-distance communication from I2C to I2C.
