The PCM6140QRGERQ1 is a high-performance Burr-Brown™ audio analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that can support synchronous sampling of up to eight digital channels or four analog channels of pulse density modulation (PDM) microphone inputs.

The PCM6140QRGERQ1 device supports both line and microphone inputs and can achieve single-ended and differential input configurations. This device integrates programmable channel gain, digital volume control, programmable microphone bias voltage, phase-locked loop (PLL), programmable high-pass filter (HPF), dual second-order filter, low-latency filter mode, and can achieve sampling rates up to 768kHz and up to 192kHz. This device supports Time Division multiplexing (TDM), I2S or left Balanced (LJ) audio formats and can be controlled via I2C or SPI. These integrated high-performance features, along with the function of being powered by a single 3.3V or 1.8V supply, make the PCM6140QRGERQ1 device highly suitable for space-constrained audio systems in far-field microphone recording applications.
