The TMS320LF2406APZA device is a new member of the TMS320C24x™; generation of digital signal processor (DSP) controllers and is part of the fixed-point DSP TMS320C2000™; platform. 240xA devices are designed on the enhanced TMS320™; DSP architecture with C2xx core CPUs and offer low-cost, low-power and high-performance processing capabilities. In addition, several advanced peripherals optimised for digital motor and motion control applications are integrated to provide a true single-chip DSP controller. 240xA is compatible with existing C24x™ DSP controllers, but with higher processing performance (40 MIPS) and higher peripheral integration.
