The BQ25306RTER is a highly integrated, standalone, switch-mode battery charger for 1-cell and 2-cell Li-ion, Li-polymer, and Li-FePO4 batteries.The BQ25306 supports an input voltage of 4.1V to 17V and a fast charging current of 3A. The device's integrated current-sense topology enables high charging efficiency and low BOM cost. The device has an excellent low quiescent current of 200nA, which saves battery power and maximises the storage time of portable devices.

The BQ25306RTER supports 4V to 17V input voltage and can be programmed to charge a single cell or two cells in series from 3.4V to 9.0V via a resistor divider. The BQ25306 provides up to 3A continuous charging current for a single cell (1S) or two cells in series (2S). The device enables fast charging of portable devices. Its input voltage regulation provides maximum charging power to the battery from the input source. The solution is highly integrated with an input reverse blocking FET (RBFET, Q1), a high-side switching FET (HSFET, Q2), and a low-side switching FET (LSFET, Q3).
