Infineon introduces the new PSoC™ Automotive Grade 4100S Max series with improved flash density, universal Input/Output Interface (GPIO), CAN-FD and hardware security. Expanded Infineon's portfolio of human machine interface (HMI) solutions for automotive body/Heating, ventilation and Air conditioning (HVAC) and steering wheel applications with CAPSENSE™ technology.

The series is particularly suitable for automotive HMI applications that need to meet a range of requirements, such as low power consumption, multiple sensing pins (more than 50), optimised system refresh rates with configurable scan times, high-speed communication (CAN-FD, I2C), and dedicated hardware encryption that CAN offload the main CPU while increasing security.
