The TPSM8287A15BBHRDWR is a pin-to-pin DC/DC step-down power supply module with differential remote sensing and I2C interface. The power modules integrate a synchronous buck converter, inductor, and input capacitors to simplify design, reduce external components, and save printed circuit board (PCB) area. Designed in a compact, low-profile package and intended to be assembled with standard surface mount equipment, the TPSM8287A15BBHRDWR implements an enhanced control scheme that can support fast transients. It can be operated at a fixed frequency or in power-saving mode. Remote sensing optimizes voltage regulation at the point of load, and the devices achieve ±0.8% DC voltage accuracy over the full temperature range. The devices can be operated in stacked, parallel modes to provide higher output currents or to spread power consumption across multiple devices, and the I2C-compatible interface provides a variety of control, monitoring, and warning functions. The startup voltage can be selected via the VSETx pin to enable power-up without actual I2C communication.
