The UCC14140QDWNRQ1 is an automotive-compliant, high-isolation voltage DC/DC power module designed to power IGBT or SiC gate drivers. The UCC14140-Q1 integrates a transformer and a DC/DC controller with a proprietary architecture for high power density and very low launch. The high-precision output voltage provides better channel enhancement for higher system efficiency without overstressing the power device gates. The input voltage of the UCC14140-Q1 supports a wide range of LiFePO 4 battery voltages (8V-18V) and 12V regulated power rails (10.8V-13.2V) with varying output power for electric vehicles.

This fully integrated module has on-chip device protection and requires very few external components to provide additional features such as input undervoltage lockout, overvoltage lockout, output voltage supply-normal comparator, thermal shutdown, soft-start timeout, adjustable isolated positive and negative output voltages, enable pins, and open-drain output supply-normal pins.
