Automotive 20A Isolated Real-Time Variable IGBT/SiC MOSFET Gate Driver with Advanced Protection Features

Product Description

The UCC5880QDFCRQ1 device is a highly configurable isolated gate driver with adjustable drive strength designed to drive high power SiC MOSFETs and IGBTs in EV/HEV applications.The device provides power transistor protection features such as shunt resistor-based overcurrent protection, thermal protection (PTC, NTC, or diode), and DESAT detection. DESAT detection, including selectable soft shutdown or two-stage soft shutdown during these faults. An integrated 10-bit ADC can be used to monitor up to two analogue inputs, VCC2, DESAT and gate driver temperature for enhanced system management. Integrated diagnostic and detection functions simplify the design of ASIL-compliant systems.
