The LTC2644CMS-L10 is a family of dual 10-bit PWM-to-voltage output DACs with an integrated high-accuracy, low-drift, 10 ppm/°C reference built into a 12-pin MSOP package. The devices feature rail-to-rail output buffers and are guaranteed monotonic.
The LTC2644CMS-L10 measures the PWM input signal and the period and pulse width, and updates the voltage output DAC after each corresponding PWM input rising edge. The DAC output is typically updated and stabilised to 12-bit accuracy in less than 8µs, and can supply and sink up to 5mA (3V) or 10mA (5V) of current to eliminate voltage ripple and replace slow-moving analogue filters and buffers. slow-moving analogue filters and buffer amplifiers.
The LTC2644CMS-L10 has a 2.5V fully scaled output with a 10ppm/°C internal reference. It can operate with an external reference that sets the full-scale output equal to the external reference voltage. Each DAC enters a pin-selectable idle state when the PWM input is held constant for more than 60ms. The device operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply and supports PWM input voltages from 1.71V to 5.5V.
