The AD5721RBCPZ are single-channel, 12-bit serial-input, voltage-output digital-to-analogue converters (DACs) with a single power supply (4.75 V to 30 V), integrated output amplifier, reference buffer, and reference voltage source, making them an extremely easy-to-use, general-purpose solution. 

The devices offer guaranteed monotonicity with integrated nonlinearity (INL) of ±2 LSB (max) over the selected range, noise of 35 nV/√Hz, and a build-up time of 7.5 μs. 

The AD5721R uses a serial interface capable of operating at clock rates up to 50 MHz and is compatible with DSP and microcontroller interface standards. The DAC outputs can be updated asynchronously using double buffering. Inputs are encoded in user-selectable binary complement or offset binary. The asynchronous reset function resets all registers to their default state. The output range is user selectable via the RA[2:0] bits in the control register.

The AD5721R is available in a 3 mm × 3 mm LFCSP package and a 16-pin TSSOP package, guaranteeing an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The AD5721RBCPZ is available in a 3 mm × 3 mm LFCSP package and a 16-pin TSSOP package.
