The MC33984CHFKR2 is a dual self-protecting 4.0 mOhm silicon switch for replacing electromechanical relays, fuses, and discrete devices in power management applications.The 33984 is designed for use in harsh environments and features a self-recovery function. The device is suitable for loads with high inrush currents as well as motors and all types of resistive and inductive loads.

Programming, control, and diagnostics are achieved through the serial peripheral interface (SPI). Dedicated parallel inputs are available for alternating and pulse-width modulation (PWM) control of each output, and SPI-programmable fault trip thresholds allow the device to be tuned for optimum performance in the application.

The MC33984CHFKR2 is available in a power-enhanced 12 mm x 12 mm gateless PQFN package with exposed lugs.
