The L99MOD54XPTR multi-output driver is a microcontroller-driven multi-function actuator driver for automotive applications. Up to 2 DC motors and 3 grounded resistive loads can be driven using 3 half-bridges and 3 high-side drivers. The integrated SPI controls all operating modes (forward, reverse, brake and high impedance). In addition, all diagnostic information is available via SPI readout.

● Three half-bridges for 0.75A loads (RDSon = 1600mΩ)

● Two configurable high-side drivers for up to 1.5A loads (RDSon = 500mΩ) or 0.35A loads (RDSon = 1800mΩ)

● One high-side driver for 6A loads (RDSon = 100mΩ)

● Driving loads with high inrush currents (i.e. currents > 6A, currents > 1.5A) with the aid of the programmable soft-start function

● Very low current consumption in standby mode (IS < 6μA (typical); Tj ≤ 85°C)

● Short-circuit protection for all outputs

● Current monitor outputs for high-side OUT1, OUT4, OUT5 and OUT6

● Over-temperature protection for all outputs

● Open load detection for all outputs

● Overload detection for all outputs

● PWM control for all outputs

● Charge pump output for reverse polarity protection

Applications

● Multi-motor control and other loads with high-side configurations, such as light bulbs/LEDs or power supplies that need to be protected (e.g. sensors or cameras)
