The STM32L053R8T7 is an ultra-low-power 32-bit microcontroller based on the ARM® Cortex®-M0+ RISC core, operating at frequencies up to 32MHz.
It offers high energy efficiency with a wide range of internal and external clock source options, internal voltage adaptive regulation, and multiple low-power modes, enabling efficient power management across various performance requirements.
The chip integrates multiple analog functions, including a 12-bit ADC (with hardware oversampling), a DAC, and two ultra-low-power comparators, as well as multiple timers, a low-power timer (LPTIM), three general-purpose 16-bit timers, a basic timer, an RTC, and a SysTick that can serve as a time reference.
In terms of communication interfaces, it offers up to two I²C, two SPI, one I²S, two USART, one low-power UART (LPUART), and USB interfaces that do not require a crystal oscillator, among other standard and advanced interfaces. It also includes up to 24 capacitive sensing channels, enabling easy integration of touch sensing functionality into various applications.
