The L99H92Q5 drives four external N-channel MOSFET transistors in single H-bridge or dual independent half-bridge configurations for DC motor control in automotive applications. Two freely configurable current-sense amplifiers are integrated. The device has a low-power mode (standby mode) with a current consumption of less than 5 µA. Programmable gate drive currents minimise EMI. Each gate driver can independently monitor its external MOSFET drain-source voltage. Programmable cross-current protection time prevents simultaneous activation of the high-voltage and low-voltage sides of each half-bridge.
