The TPS25972ARPWR electronic fuses are highly integrated circuit protection and power management solutions in a small package. These devices provide multiple protection modes with few external components and are very effective against overloads, short circuits, voltage surges and excessive inrush currents. A single external capacitor can be used to adjust the output slew rate and inrush current. Loads can be protected from input overvoltage conditions by clamping the output to a safe fixed maximum voltage (pin-selectable) or by cutting off the output when the input exceeds the adjustable overvoltage threshold.
