The TDA21590 is a high efficiency OptiMOS™ 90A power stage with integrated internal current detection. The device consists of a low static current synchronous buck gate driver IC packaged with control and sync MOSFETs and an active diode structure to achieve a Schottky-like low VDS with very little reverse recovery charge. The package is optimized for PCB layout, heat transfer, driver /MOSFET control timing, and minimizes switch node ringing while following layout guidelines.
