Product Description

The ISO6731QDWRQ1 device is a high-performance three-channel digital isolator that provides a UL 1577-compliant 5000VRMS isolation rating, making it ideal for cost-sensitive applications with such requirements. The device is also VDE, TUV, CSA, and CQC certified.


While isolating complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) or low-voltage complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (LVCMOS) digital I/Os, the ISO6731-Q1 devices provide high electromagnetic immunity and low radiation, as well as low power consumption. The logic input and output buffers of each isolated channel are isolated by TI's double-capacitance silicon dioxide (SiO2) barrier. The device is equipped with enable pins that can be used to place the respective outputs in a high-impedance state in multi-master drive applications. the ISO6731-Q1 device has two forward channels and one reverse channel. Used in conjunction with an isolated power supply, this device helps prevent noise currents on data buses such as CAN and LIN from damaging sensitive circuitry. With innovative chip design and layout techniques, the ISO6731-Q1 devices offer significantly enhanced EMC compatibility, mitigating system-level ESD, EFT, and surge issues, as well as compliance with radiation standards. The ISO6731-Q1 device is available in a 16-pin SOIC wide-body (DW) package and represents a pin-to-pin upgrade from previous generations.
