The ISO1540QDQ1 devices are low power bi-directional isolators compatible with the I2C interface. Used with Texas Instruments (TI) capacitive isolation technology, the logic input and output buffers of these devices are isolated by silicon dioxide (SiO2) insulated barriers. When used with an isolated power supply, these devices block high voltages, isolate ground, and prevent noise currents from entering the local ground that could interfere with or damage sensitive circuitry.
