The LTC4421HUHE connects one of two input supplies to a common output based on user-defined priority and validity. An external resistor divider sets undervoltage and overvoltage thresholds that limit the effective voltage window. Strong gate drivers allow fast switching of large external N-channel MOSFETs fast switching. Fast switching circuitry prevents both reverse and cross conduction. Fast comparator detects input shorts and quickly turns off N-channel MOSFETs to minimise interruptions.
