The LTC4370IDE is a dual-supply current sharing controller that uses a MOSFET ideal diode. The diodes block reverse and breakdown currents during startup and fault conditions. Their forward voltage is adjusted to share the load current. Unlike other sharing methods, neither a sharing bus nor a trim pin on the power supply is required. The maximum MOSFET voltage drop can be set by a resistor. A resistor is used to set the maximum MOSFET voltage drop. Fast gate turn-on reduces load voltage drop.
