The MAX22200ETJ is an octal 36V serial control solenoid driver. Each channel features a low-impedance (200mΩ typical) push-pull output stage with sink-source drive capability and up to 1ARMS drive current. The serial interface (SPI) also supports a daisy-chain configuration to control each channel individually. The device half-bridges can be configured as either low-side or high-side drivers. In addition, pairs of half-bridges can be connected in parallel to double the drive current or can be configured as a full bridge to drive up to four latching valves (bi-stable valves) or four brushed DC motors.
