The NCP1096PAG is a member of ON Semiconductor's Power over Ethernet device (PoE-PD) product family. It allows devices containing NCP1096-based PDs to become IEEE802.3af/at and -3bt compliant powered devices. It integrates all the functions required for operation within a PoE system, such as detection, classification, and current detection. All functions required for operation in the system, current limitation during the inrush phase. Supports high power applications (up to 90 W PoE). Power good pins ensure proper disabling/enabling of adjacent main DC/DC converters.
