The MAX77757JEFG420 is a standalone 3.15A charger with integrated USB Type-C® CC detection that meets the JEITA specification and supports reverse boost function. The fast charging current is easily configurable via a resistor.The MAX77757JEFG420 has an input voltage range of 4.5V to 13.7V and a maximum input current limit of 3A.The IC also implements an Adaptive Input Current Limit (AICL) function, which regulates the input voltage by lowering the input current to prevent voltage collapse or foldback in weak adapters.
