The AVA-5R183 is a GaAs pHEMT MMIC broadband amplifier that operates from 0.5 to 18 GHz. The amplifier delivers 14.4 dB gain, +16.8 dBm P1dB and +27.9 dBm OIP3 typical performance, operates at +5V and consumes 85 mA. The AVA-5R183 offers high dynamic range and low power consumption. With its high dynamic range and low power consumption, the AVA-5R183+ is an ideal receiver gain block for broadband applications such as test and measurement equipment and defense systems. The amplifier is available in an industry-standard 4x4mm QFN-type package with a 50Ω internal match on the RF port for easy integration into microwave system PC boards.
