The TPS61391RTER is a 700kHz pulse-width modulated (PWM) boost converter with an 85V switching FET over a 2.5V to 5.5V input range. peak switching currents of up to 1000mA are available. the device includes precision current mirrors with two selectable gain options, 1:5 or 4:5. the TPS61391 also provides high light power protection, with an additional FET in series with the APD supply path.

The TPS61391RTER also provides high optical power protection with an additional FET in series with the APD power path, with a typical response time of 0.5µs. It automatically recovers when high optical power drops.

The TPS61391RTER is available in a 3mm × 3mm QFN package with exposed pads below.
