The ADS7128IRTER 12-bit analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) is an easy-to-use, 8-channel, multiplexed, 12-bit, successive approximation register (SAR) ADC.The eight channels can be independently configured as analogue inputs, digital inputs or digital outputs. The device features an internal oscillator for the ADC conversion process. The device communicates via an I2C-compatible interface and operates in autonomous or single-conversion mode. An analogue watchdog function can be implemented by means of a digital window comparator with programmable high and low thresholds, hysteresis and event counters, implementing interrupts triggered by events depending on the channel. Built-in cyclic redundancy check (CRC) for data read/write operations and power-up configuration.
