The LMR38020SQDDARQ1 SIMPLE SWITCHER ® buck converter is designed to regulate over a wide input voltage range, minimising the need for external surge suppression components.The LMR38020-Q1 operates at input voltages as low as 4.2V, and at virtually 100% duty cycle when necessary, making it an excellent choice for wide input industrial applications and MHEV/EV systems an excellent choice.

The device features built-in protections such as cycle-by-cycle current limiting, hiccup mode short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown in the event of excessive power dissipation.The LMR38020SQDDARQ1 is available in an 8-pin HSOIC PowerPAD package. The device is AEC-Q100 compliant for automotive applications.
