The LMR38020FSDDAR synchronous buck converter is designed to regulate over a wide input voltage range, minimising the need for external surge suppression components. The LMR38020 is ideal for wide input voltage range industrial applications and MHEV/EV systems because of its ability to continue to operate at nearly 100% duty cycle as needed when the input voltage dips as low as 4.2V.

The device has built-in protection features such as cycle-by-cycle current limiting, intermittent mode short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown in case of excessive power consumption. The LMR38020FSDDAR is available in an 8-pin HSOIC PowerPAD integrated circuit package.
