The ISOS141-SEP radiation resistant device is a high performance four channel digital isolator in a small 16-pin QSOP package. The logic input and output buffers of each isolated channel are isolated by a dual capacitive silicon dioxide (SiO2) insulating gate. The ISOS141-SEP device has three forward channels and one reverse channel, with a default output of low if input power or signal is lost. The enable pin can be used to place each output at high impedance for multi-master drive applications and also to reduce power consumption.
The ISOS141-SEP offers high EMI immunity and low radiation and low power consumption when isolating CMOS or LVCMOS digital I/O. With a high common mode transient immunity of 100kV/µs, the device easily mitigates system level ESD, EFT and surge issues, and also simplifies radiation compliance through an innovative chip design.
