The TPS63070RNMR is a high efficiency buck-boost converter with low quiescent current for applications where the input voltage may be higher or lower than the output voltage. In boost or buck mode, the output current can be as high as 2 A. The buck-boost converter is based on a fixed-frequency, pulse-width modulated (PWM) controller that uses synchronous rectification for maximum efficiency. At low load currents, the converter enters a power save mode to maintain high efficiency over a wide load current range. The converter can be disabled to minimise battery consumption. During shutdown, the load is disconnected from the battery. The device is available in a 2.5mm x 3mm QFN package.
