The MAX22196ATJ is an industrial eight-channel digital input kit that converts eight channels of industrial 24V or TTL level inputs to logic level outputs. The kit has a serial interface that allows serial data to be configured and read via SPI. The input channels can be individually configured as either potted (P-type) or pulled (N-type) inputs. Current limiters for each digital input minimise power consumption while ensuring compliance with IEC 61131-2. Inputs can be individually configured as Type 1/3, Type 2, TTL or HTL (high impedance 24V level) using a single current setting resistor. Current sinks or sources can be individually disabled.
