The PCI11101/MXX switch (with USB 3.2 host controller) combines a USB 3.2 Gen 2 host controller with programmable I/O. With 4-channel (4x8GT/s) uplink ports and 2-channel (2x8GT/s) downlink ports, it meets the demand for higher bandwidth PCIe subsystems in embedded applications.  The device is certified for GEN4 compliance in the PCIe version 4.x specification, enabling flexible system architectures with one or more lanes for PCIe uplink. PCIe compliance is ensured from the external interface to the switch fabric and endpoint controller.
