The SHA104-SSVDA is a member of the CryptoAuthentication™ product family from Microchip Technology Inc. The device provides 128-bit symmetric security for disposable and ecosystem control applications. The control application provides 128-bit symmetric security that can be used as a companion device and is microcontroller/microprocessor independent. The device can be used for host pass-through use or, for added security, can be used with a host-side security device to perform CheckMAC operations.
