The ADPD2211ACPZ is an optical sensor optimised for biomedical applications. Extremely low power consumption and near theoretical signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) are achieved by packaging an ultra-low capacitance deep-junction silicon photodiode operating in zero-bias photoconductive mode with a low-noise current amplifier. With typical 400 kHz bandwidth performance, they are ideal for use with pulse excitation. Extremely low power consumption during operation and an integrated power-down pin enables power cycling to optimise battery life in portable applications. RF noise-limited performance makes it possible to measure signals with the highest possible fidelity in low-light conditions.
