The ISL76671AROZ is a low-cost, photo-voltage silicon optical sensor that integrates a photodiode array, a nonlinear current amplifier, and a micro-power operational amplifier on a single single-chip IC. Similar to the human eye, the peak sensitivity of a photodiode array is 550nm, with a wavelength range of 400nm to 600nm, capable of blocking both ultraviolet and infrared light. The input brightness range is from 0.01 lux to 100 lux.

The integrated nonlinear current amplifier enhances the photodiode signal and converts it into a square root output format, expanding the dynamic range while maintaining excellent sensitivity in dim light conditions. Therefore, when installed behind a large number of smoked frames used around a display or behind a mirror, this component is highly suitable for measuring incident daylight.

The built-in 1μA operational amplifier provides the ISL76671AROZ with the advantage of output voltage drive, making it suitable for heavier loads that can directly drive ADCs. The ISL76671AROZ adopts an ultra-compact 2mm x 2.1mm ODFN plastic surface mount package, and its design complies with the level 2 standard of AEC-Q100.
