The AD8495ARMZ device is a precision instrument amplifier equipped with a thermocouple cold end compensator on an integrated circuit. The combination of the freezing point reference and the pre-calibrated amplifier enables it to produce a high level (5 mV/°C) output directly from the thermocouple signal. The device can be used either as a standalone thermometer or as a switched output set point controller using fixed or remote set point control.
