The LM74670QDGKRQ1 is a controller device that can be used with N-channel MOSFETs in full or half full function mode. It is used with N-channel MOSFETs in full- or half-bridge rectifier architectures for alternators. It is designed to drive an external MOSFET to emulate an ideal diode. Full- or half-bridge rectifiers and Schottky diodes in alternators Schottky diodes in alternators can be replaced with the LM74670QDGKRQ1 solution to avoid diode forward conduction losses and produce a more efficient AC-DC converter.
